Amendment section 1 of the madhya pradesh nagar tatha gram nivesh adhiniyam, 1973

Government of Madhya Pradesh, has caused amendment in Section 1 of the Madhya Pradesh Nagar Tatha Gram Nivesh Adhiniyam, 1973 vide Madhya Pradesh Act no. 14 of 2017 dated 20.4.2017. By virtue of this amendment nothing in the said Act would apply on the “land under the control of railway administration under the Railways Act 1989 (no. 24 of 1989)”. Thus, in the case of Habibganj (Bhopal) Railways need not to seek approval of the local bodies under the Act except consultations, which it has already done.
